Description
This report offers a comprehensive demographic and acculturation
profile of South Florida’s Hispanics, with emphasis
on education, employment trends, income, household composition
and an acculturation analysis based on key immigration
indicators such as number of years in Florida, immigration
status, English proficiency, intent of returning to the
home country, among others.
It clearly shows
a higher educated and entrepreneurial wave of immigrants
among South Florida Hispanics, compared to the overall
Hispanic market, with its implications on consumer spending
and investing. Additionally, the report includes key
indicators on their adjustment process. Findings were
obtained from our syndicated survey Latin
Review 2006.
